{Dimensions of rest / 2025}
Curatorial research & editorial design

This exhibition proposal, presented in the form of an editorial design project, emerges from the urgency to confront the damaging normalizations of productivity and overwork, and to hold space for rest as a profound and political act. It recognizes the body (specifically black bodies) as a site infused with histories of intersecting violences stemming from systems of class, race, gender, and labor. But most importantly, the body becomes a powerful medium of reclamation, resistance, and transformation.

Dimensions of Rest invites visitors into a space where rest is not passive, and where the body becomes an active agent in the shaping of counter-narratives. The exhibition opens up a temporal reality, where bodies are not surveilled or extracted from, but honored, cared for, and listened to.
